Here's my latest project, Bali Sea and Sky, a solo piano piece with timeless views of Bali from 2008.
The island is filled with beautiful music, on the radio and live in Denpasar cafes and clubs. Most of it can be described as Eurasian groove. The best radio station (I don't recall its name) played track after track without interruption. Kaffe in Ubud had the finest background music I've ever heard in a restaurant. At Cafe Batu Jimbar in Sanur a superb band played with a quiet expertise that effortlessly packed the many tables across the veranda. I hope soon to return for another long stay.
